Happy Holidays from everyone at ACR

As 2016 comes to a close, we just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa, and an amazing Festivus. This year, we saw some big milestones and we have you to thank.
2016 Achievements
We hosted a record nine tournament series which included our inaugural Online Super Series Cub3d. The 5-week long summer extravaganza guaranteed $4.5 million in prize pools through 3 back-to-back-to-back tournament series.
We continued offering our marquee $1,000,000 GTD Million Dollar Sundays Main Events, covering the guarantee on all three we hosted this year, a clear indication of how much our network has grown.

The Punta Cana Poker Classic found a new location at the Melia Caribe Resort. Our players were designated an entire private wing of the hotel with customized service and access to private pools, restaurants and beaches. We qualified an unprecedented amount of players through online satellites, 120 in all.

The increase in promotional offerings allowed us to expand our presence in social media across all fronts including Facebook, Twitter, and now Instagram, along with our huge following on The Big Blind blog.

Once the word got out about all we had to offer, our cash game play reached new heights, resulting in our poker network cracking the top-5 worldwide in traffic for the first time.

A look ahead…
We continually strive to improve and we have some big innovations on the horizon for our player community in 2017. We’re hitting the ground running by launching into the New Year with an upgraded tournament schedule that will feature higher guarantees and more tournaments every day of the week.
The much anticipated Sit & Go 2.0 will also launch in January. This twist on traditional Sit & Go’s will offer potentially more players paid and bigger prize pools every game. Players could find themselves playing for tens of thousands of dollars through the progressive jackpot component.

Our mobile product and brand new types of tournaments are also slated in the months to come.
Stay tuned!

Some changes
Early next year you’ll have the option to purchase tournament tickets with your Combat Points so you can register for real money tournaments. We are also changing the way you earn points by moving from a “dealt” methodology to a “weighted-contributed” structure.
